۞ Narrated Ibn `Umar (R.A) :
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “There is a tree among the trees which is similar to a Muslim (in goodness), and that is the date palm tree.” (Sahih al-Bukhari, Book of Food, Meals, Book 70, Hadith 77)
Sukkari variety of date palm is a famous type grown in almost places of Iraq and Kingdom Saudi Arabia due to its good economical returns to farmers and buyers as well as its high quality of fruits. The Sukkari date fruits are considered the most famous premium date kind in the Arab countries, it has a very unique color that easily differentiates them from the other date palm fruit varieties. It is named in the Arabic word (Sukkar) which dose it means “sugar”, hence the extra sweetness you taste when you taste it. This variety is commonly spelled as “Sukkari”, “Sukkary” or “Succary”.
